The 114-Holder Treasury

What holder concentration and wallet activity reveal about the tokenized-Treasury boom.

Cover of The 114-Holder Treasury

Tokenized Treasuries are often presented as proof that real-world assets have moved on-chain at scale. The aggregate is meaningful, but it does not describe the shape of the market underneath it.

As observed on 5 August 2026, BlackRock’s BUIDL held roughly $2.7 billion across 114 wallets. Ondo’s OUSG showed 60 holders, with roughly 15 wallets active over the preceding 30 days. These are permissioned products built for qualified purchasers, so concentration is partly a feature of their charter rather than a simple adoption failure.

The sharper question is whether tokenization creates useful movement: composability, collateral mobility and continuous settlement. Holder count is one signal. Velocity and actual use of the rails are the next ones to follow.

Sources and scope

Holder counts, AUM and activity were checked against RWA.xyz on 5 August 2026. Product access and whitelisting terms were checked against Securitize and Ondo disclosures; OUSG holdings were checked against Ondo’s published portfolio. Figures are time-sensitive.
